Crying Game

last night I got a call from Eve (exec prod for https://www.raconteur.tv/people) because the usual producer (the fantastic Duncan Middleton) was not able to do the edit, he is OK but it was just not possible. So Eve asked if I could do the edit and the mix. Sure..I say. Quite an intense day as we were collapsing two peoples work into one, but great fun, and I was v happy with the R4 edit and mix. The BBC Sounds mix was more of a challenge, but thanks to Duncan and Sarah's guidance we made a great show. I always enjoy the editorial process and todays shows just proved to me how much fulfilment I get from working on radio shows where I am integrated to the production team, and they trust me to make the right editorial decisions. Lovely bunch pf people to work with
