In another breakneck week, we look at the language of reality in politics. Are plumbers more 'real' than economists? Can Trump really 'manipulate reality'? And has he been watching Shrek?

We also look at the parallels between Marco Rubio and the general in Dr Strangelove, Tony Blair powering down when talking to Alan Partridge, and whether 'Epic Fury' really means what Pete Hegseth thinks it does.

According to Oxford Dictionary definition of epic is:

1) an exceptionally long and arduous task or activity.

2) heroic or grand in scale or character.

And Fury is defined as

1) wild or violent anger.

2) extreme strength or violence in an action or a natural phenomenon.

3) a surge of violent anger or other strong feeling.

Operation "Epic Fury" could be defined as

A) "an exceptionally long and arduous task of wild or violent anger"

OR

B) "heroic or grand in scale or character showing extreme strength or violence in an action"

I think its A, but Hesgeth thinks its B

Language is so interesting
