This time last year I was lucky enough to be at Luskentyre beach, probably one of the best beaches in the world (though Uig is pretty nice too!) I recorded the surge of the waves coming in, and if you need 8 mins of peace and quite, have a listen. You can hear the waves surge in from the left and pass over to the right. and the fizz of the water in the sand. I was a few meters from the shore but the mic picks up everything, including people walking a dog about 1/2 a km away!
