Taxi Driver At 50

Just before Christmas Julia Hayball & I recorded Michael Goldfarb's fascinating doc about New York in the mid 70's which included an interview with the great Michael Scorsese. Although not part of the doc, Michael told us how he messaged, and messaged, and messaged anyone who could help set up an interview with Martin, stressing it was about New York and not just about Taxi Driver. Eventually Michaels phone rings when he was recording material in the states, he answers it and gets the message "Marty's Interested"

Its a great listen and is on Radio 4 on Saturday at 8pm
